Vodafone Türkiye invests TRY 1.5 billion in mobile network

 

Sabah - Mobile operator Vodafone Türkiye has invested more than TRY 1.5 billion (approx. USD 950 million) in its communications infrastructure during the 2009-2010 fiscal year, according to the company’s CEO Serpil Timuray.

 

Speaking at the opening ceremony of its 974th “mobile center” in Bodrum, Mugla, Timuray said Vodafone is the world’s largest mobile telecommunications company and that priority has been given to Türkiye in Vodafone’s plans. “Our infrastructure investments in the 2009-2010 fiscal year have reached TRY 1.5 billion”, added Timuray.
