Mann+Hummel to make Türkiye production center

Referans – The German Mann+Hummel, one of the world’s leading automotive spare parts manufacturers, pushed the button for manufacturing in Türkiye. The company plans to commission a production facility in the northwestern Turkish province of Adapazari or Kocaeli at a total investment cost of EUR 30-50 million by 2011 at the latest, whereas it aims at exporting to the neighboring countries through Türkiye in the long-run. Cagri Savasan, General Manager of Mann+Hummel Türkiye, said they have confidence in the future of Türkiye’s automotive sector and specified that Türkiye is one of the three countries with Czech Republic and Russia that Mann+Hummel focused on. Savasan said, “We hear that carmakers will manufacture some of their models only in Türkiye or that they will move their production facilities to Türkiye. Türkiye has a great potential in this respect. Another reason why we will manufacture in Türkiye is the robust demand from the suppliers.”
