Uludag Exporters' Association said Thursday that this export figure surpasses the overall export figure in 2003-- which was 7.1 billion USD, while Türkiye only earned 5.9 billion USD from its automotive exports in the same period of 2007. Turkish carmakers shipped mostly passenger cars so far this year. Germany, France, Italy, Britain and Russia were the leading European countries where Türkiye exported automotive products.
