Invest News Detail(PRNET / Reuters) Schneider Electric, one of the world’s premier electrical distribution and automation control equipment firms acquired PKS Profiluks, an Istanbul-based cable canal manufacturer. The details of the deal haven't been announced yet. Schneider Electric Türkiye CEO Turhan Turhangil noted the company plans to be a regional export centre by improving its production capacity with new investments. With its 2 production facilities and over 1000 employees Schneider Electric has been operating in Türkiye for over 25 years. The company expanded business activity in Turkish market recently by acquiring the local Metesan A.S. PKS Profiluks ranks among top leading cabel canal firms in Türkiye. In its Tuzla factory with a professional team of 110 people PKS Profiluks focuses on designing and production of electric distribution boxes, switch & sockets and cable canal systems.
