(Petkim), Türkiye’s leading petrochemical company, has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Iran’s NPC International Limited (NPCI) for the establishment of a plant and additional facilities. The suspension polyvinyl chloride (S-PVC) plant will have an annual capacity of 300,000 mt. Petkim specializes in petrochemical manufacturing and produces ethylene, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene and other chemical building blocks for use in the manufacture of plastics, textiles, and other consumer and industrial products. The company has 14 manufacturing plants supplying a significant portion of petrochemicals used in Türkiye. The company, listed on the Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB), is also a leading exporter of petrochemical products.
