Invest News DetailHurriyet Daily News - Türkiye has become the number-three destination for TUI Germany, one of the country’s leading tour operators, according to the company’s CEO Volker Bottcher. Bottcher said on Saturday that Türkiye is among the holiday destinations most favored by TUI's customers. "Türkiye has become the third most important destination of TUI," said Bottcher during a ceremony in Istanbul in which TUI presented its summer catalogue for 2011. Bottcher said 530,000 Germans visited Türkiye through TUI's organization, and TUI's reservations in Türkiye were up 10 percent in the summer of 2010. TUI will also open one of two resort facilities for its new hotel brand Puravida in Türkiye, said Bottcher.
