Invest News DetailHürriyet - Ontex, the Belgian producer of disposable hygiene products, will reach the Middle Eastern, Central Asian and African markets via Türkiye. After the EUR 1.2 billion takeover by private equity company Texas Pacific Group (TPG) and Goldman Sachs’s equity arm, Ontex plans to use Türkiye as an export base. Running its Middle Eastern, Central Asian and African markets from its Türkiye headquarters, the company also intends to increase Türkiye’s current 10 percent share of the company’s global turnover. Ontex has registered a 31 percent increase in its exports of Turkish made products in 2010.
