Türkiye's Kutahya in consortium for Rosenthal

Reuters - Türkiye's Kutahya Porselen said on Friday it was in a consortium to buy German porcelain maker Rosenthal which filed for insolvency earlier this year after its Irish owner Waterford Wedgwood called in receivers. While U.S. private equity group KPS Capital Partners bought British and Irish assets of the luxury tableware maker in February, 130-year-old Rosenthal was not included in the deal. Privately-owned Kutahya Porselen said it had decided to join a consortium with Nafi Gural Investment to buy Rosenthal but declined to give further details.
