Invest News DetailAA - International hotel chain Hilton Hotels Corporation plans to grow its presence in key locations of Türkiye's tourism market, a Hilton executive said on Sunday. Hilton opened its first resort hotel in the district of Dalaman in Mugla, which is located at the intersection of the Aegean and the Mediterranean coast of Türkiye. Hilton is also interested in some other resort towns in Türkiye such as Bodrum, Cesme and Kusadasi on the Aegean coast and Antalya on the Mediterranean, said Michael Collini, Hilton's Vice President of Development. At a press conference to mark the opening of the Hilton Resort Hotel in Dalaman, Collini said Türkiye was a priority for Hilton's expansion in the future. Hilton operates nine hotels in seven different locations in Türkiye. Hilton Istanbul, which was opened over 50 years ago, was the first Hilton hotel in Europe and the first five-star hotel in Türkiye. Collini said there were opportunities for Hilton's expansion in Türkiye, adding that they have signed 13 new hotel contracts with Turkish property partners which would double company's portfolio over the next two years. Collini stated Türkiye was the most successful market in the company's international expansion area. He said: "We believe in Türkiye's potential."
