(TEI) Director General Akin Duman announced that TEI manufactures engine parts to be used in the biggest aircraft of the world --A380. Duman said, "we aim to establish an aircraft engine industry in Türkiye. TEI's total sales worth 250 million U.S. dollars --including exports of 140 million U.S. dollars-- in 2007. TEI aims to increase this figure to 300 million USD in 2008." "TEI recorded a 30 percent growth in 2007. We manufacture 530 engine parts for aircraft. We produce parts for GP 7200 engines to be used in A380, the biggest aircraft of the world," Duman stated. Duman said they are planning to invest over 30 million USD in 2008 and 2009.
