Erdogan: “Centre of energy is Türkiye”

Yeni Safak – Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan delivered a speech at the 5th Energy Forum of Türkiye titled “Rising New Regional Power in Energy: Türkiye”, organized at the Adile Sultan Palace. Erdogan said that the world economy grew further every year and this growth naturally led to an increase in energy demands. Saying “New energy agreements are going to be signed”, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan noted that Ceyhan made fast progress for being an important energy centre in this geography. Stressing that Türkiye became a global energy actor, prime minister said, “We have been able to make progress more than half of the progress made in 80 years in electricity consumption and generation.”
