Faber preferred Türkiye to China

Dunya – With its production success of 1.2 million goods per month, Faber Franke, which has been producing hoods and aspirators in Muradiye, Manisa since 2000, caused Franke Group to close down its plant in China. Michael Piepper, CEO of Franke Group who inaugurated the 2nd phase plant of Faber Türkiye, has stated that Türkiye’s significance as a production base increases day by day. Having expressed that the plant in Türkiye with its 313 employees is becoming more qualified, Piepper said, "We have closed down the production plant in China and directed the production operations carried out in China towards Türkiye." Fabio Ciucci, General Manager of Faber Türkiye, said, "While, producers in today’s Türkiye worries about how to prevent production opportunities from being snatched by China, we are proud of diverting production in China to Türkiye. We owe our success to the industrial production approach we have applied, the strong cooperation we have formed and the solidarity among our employees." Stating that they will continue to increase their capacity with the investments they will make until 2011, Ciucci added, "In order to maintain a sustainable growth level, we will make significant investments not only in technology but in human resources, as well." Faber Türkiye, which is the biggest investment of the Group outside Italy, has the highest level of production compared to the other plants within the Group.
