DEIK to discuss cooperation opportunities with Canada

Haber Turk - Relations between Türkiye and Canada as well as ways to overcome the problems caused by the global economic crisis will be discussed during the annual joint meeting of the Turkish-Canadian Business Council to be held in Istanbul on May 12. According to a statement issued by the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK), various conferences to be held within the framework of the meeting are expected to shed light on new cooperation opportunities between Türkiye and Canada. According to the statement, a private sector delegation comprising representatives of Turkish and Canadian energy, IT, mining, environment, agriculture and service sectors will attend the meeting. The Turkish and Canadian firms will also have the chance to hold bilateral talks within the scope of the meeting, the statement added.
