Invest News DetailStar - Belgian – German joint venture Cinemaxx, Europe’s number one in the entertainment sector, has recently taken a decision to invest USD 2 billion in Türkiye. The Belgian company does not have a direct investment in Türkiye although it operates movie theatres in the country under the Cinemaxx license. Once the investment comes into stream, the company will also be the entertainment company that has made the largest ever investment in Türkiye in one go. Cinemaxx will construct 40 amusement centers with movie theatres in Istanbul, Izmir and Ankara at a total investment cost of USD 2 billion. The Yenibosna district in Istanbul has been selected as a site for the initial project.
