Expecting to find valuable oil fields in the region, TPAO will initiate seismic exploration over a 5,000 square kilometer area during the second half of this month. An official from TPAO said they will take action as soon as they get a positive reading indicating the presence of oil. He said they will have to find partners for further exploration in the region.
