Erdogan: Türkiye earns $40 bln from privatization in 5 years

World News - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Türkiye has earned 40 billion U.S. dollars from privatization during the reign of his party. Erdogan attended a meeting at Hilton Hotel in Ankara. The country had earned a mere 8 billion U.S. dollars between 1984 and 2002, he noted. Erdogan said the government did what was required in regard to Türkiye's EU accession and with great determination. "The government makes necessary arrangements to boost standard of living of Turkish people either," he added.
