Bulgarian wine makers head to Türkiye

Dunya – Yalcin Egemen, Chairman of the Turkish-Bulgarian Business Council under Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK), said Bulgaria is experiencing difficulties in viniculture due to the license obligation introduced by the EU and said large wine companies in Bulgaria are heading to Türkiye in order to build a vineyard plantation. Egemen added, “It is possible for the Bulgarian capital to invest in Türkiye by means of becoming a partner in the Turkish SMEs. The Bulgarians may invest more than EUR 100 million in the coming years”.
