Invest News DetailHurriyet – The first official step has been taken in the technopark project, which Murat Yalcintas, Chairman of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO), promised to commission after he was elected in 2005. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) for establishing a technopark on the premises of the Advanced Technology Industrial Park (ITEP) has been inked between Ministry of National Defense and ITO. Yalcintas said, “The important US and European companies will be located here. ITO-SSM (Undersecretariat for the Defense Industry) will be a significant base for the world’s leading companies to tab into the Central Asia, the Middle East and other neighboring countries”.
