Indesit to invest EUR 50 million in Türkiye

Aksam - The Indesit Group will invest EUR 50 million in Türkiye. The Italian company aims at a market share of 15 percent in the country’s durable goods market, according to Indesit Türkiye CEO Neriman Ulsever.

A portion of the USD 50 million investment will be channeled to production and R&D operations in Indesit’s Manisa plant in Türkiye’s Aegean region, while the remaining will be spent to strengthen the company’s marketing and distribution networks.

“Türkiye is a strategically important country for Indesit,” said Ulsever, speaking of Indesit’s plans in the country. “Indesit exports 1 million Turkish-manufactured refrigerator units per year,” she added.
