Invest News DetailHurriyet Daily News - Türkiye’s automotive market saw a turnover of a total of 760,913 vehicles during 2010, the highest figure ever, according to official data. Türkiye’s automotive sales reached 99,461 vehicles in the final month of last year, representing an increase of approximately 74 percent compared to same period in 2009, according to a written statement by Hayri Erce, General Coordinator of the Automotive Distributors’ Association (ODD). The total sales figures consisted of 509,784 passenger cars and 251,129 light commercial vehicles. The year-on-year sales rate went up by 36 percent.
