GL Events, an internationally renowned company in congress tourism and aluminum construction business, has recently decided to invest in Türkiye despite the global financial crisis. The company, which will initially operate a multifunctional lounge with a 300-person capacity in the Sabanci Museum, will build a 4000 square meter production facility in Gebze district of the northwestern Turkish province of Kocaeli with an investment cost of USD 10 million under the partnership of Pergel Construction Co. and Spacio Tempo, a subsidiary of GL Events. Aluminum tents, hangars and related components for large fairs and congresses will be produced in the facility.
