Turkey's automotive industry promises high sales, executive says

Hurriyet Daily News - Turkey’s automotive industry, which was predicted at the beginning of 2010 to manufacture 450,000 vehicles for the year, may produce as many as 750,000. Despite the effects of the global financial crisis, Fiat Turkey’s Brand Manager Okan Bas is optimistic that production levels will remain high. Last year’s high demand, largely as a result of the government’s stimulus package against recession, is continuing with an upward trend, and the market has the potential to grow in the near future”, said Bas.
