Economist O’Neill: Türkiye to grow faster than expected

Sabah - Goldman Sachs Economist Jim O’Neill, the person who invented the term BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China) investment category, praised the Turkish economy’s recent performance. The BRIC group and other emerging economies will present many investment opportunities, stated O’Neill, also predicting that Türkiye and Indonesia will grow beyond expectations.

O’Neill placed Türkiye among The Next Eleven or N-11 group, another term like the BRIC used to define economies with high potential, including Bangladesh, Indonesia, the Philippines, South Korea, Iran, Mexico, Egypt, Nigeria, Pakistan and Vietnam.
