Sabah – Michel Akavi, General Manager of DHL logistics company responsible for the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey regions, has stated that the company will move the headquarter for 20 countries to Turkey. Declaring that they will move the headquarter of the region which is currently located in Bahrain to Istanbul, Akavi said, "Istanbul will be our logistics base. Istanbul is a unique place in terms of its geographical position, as well as its air connections. Besides, Turkey is the fastest growing country among the 20 countries I manage. The population of Bahrain is 700,000. As a result, we are facing many difficulties related to human resources; however, we will not have such problems in Istanbul."
