Vodafone commissions call center in Samsun

Sabah - Mobile operator Vodafone has established a call center in Türkiye’s Black Sea city of Samsun. Built at a cost of TRY 16 million (approx. USD 9 million) with the cooperation of Callus of the Koc Group, the center is to serve Vodafone’s subscriber base throughout Türkiye.

Türkiye’s giant leap forward in the telecommunications industry brought the country to the forefront in global call center industry, Türkiye’s Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Binali Yildirim said at his speech in the center’s opening ceremony. More call centers are opening in Türkiye’s east, the minister added, giving the cities of Erzincan, Diyarbakir, and Bitlis as recent examples. Türkiye’s leading mobile operator Turkcell also has a number of call centers in the country’s eastern provinces.

Vodafone call center in Samsun spans 5,000 m2 of area and employs 600 people.
