Isuzu Motors to produce D-MAX pick-ups in Turkey

Milliyet – Anadolu Isuzu, the first Japanese-partnered automotive manufacturing company in Turkey, has signed a letter of intent with the Japanese automotive manufacturer, Isuzu Motors International, to begin production of the company’s D-MAX model pick-up vehicle in Turkey.

 

According to the deal signed during the Commercial Vehicle & Components Expo (COMVEX) fair held in Istanbul , the Turkish-Japanese JV betwen Anadolu Group and Isuzu Motors plans to start production of the D-MAX by March, 2014 at the company’s  Cayirova plant in Turkey’s northwestern province of Kocaeli. The plant will manufacture about 3,000 vehicles per year, depending on the domestic market demand.

 

Anadolu Isuzu currenty manufactures a range of buses and trucks in its Turkish plant.
