Turkey to have a strong presence at 2013 BIO International Convention

A combination of public and private institutions ranging from ministries to pharma manufacturing companies will be representing Turkey’s rapidly-growing biotech industry at this year’s BIO International Convention taking place in Chicago, USA. A large delegation led by Turkey’s Minister of Health, Mehmet Muezzinoglu, will be participating in the premier gathering of the global biotechnology industry to be held betwen 22-25 April.

Tasked with promoting Turkey’s investment environment to international investors, the Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Turkey (ISPAT) will also be represented at the highest level by President Ilker Ayci along with its expert staff to provide information and guidance on Turkey’s biotech and pharmaceutical sectors. The Agency is staging a session on the first day of the event entitled, “Turkey – An investment hub for growth in biotech” at booth 4424 Hall C at the Turkey Pavillion.
