Turkish minister calls on US companies to invest in energy

Hurriyet - Turkish Minister of State for Foreign Trade Zafer Caglayan has called on US companies to invest in Türkiye’s booming energy industry. Caglayan, adressing business people at the Business Council for International Understanding meeting in New York, US., said that US investments in Türkiye reached a total of USD 6.5 billion.

“US companies should increase their investments in Türkiye,” said the Minister, describing Türkiye’s attractive investment environment and the opportunities available for US companies, particularly in the fast-growing energy industry. “Türkiye’s energy industry will require USD 100 billion of investments in the next decade,” said Caglayan, adding that “opportunities such as these should not be missed”.
