Dunya – Ford Otosan’s Golcuk plant will become the production center for the Transit model, the flagship of commercial vehicles produced by the company. The plant, which is currently producing Transit and Transit Connect, will shift to Transit production only. The finalization of the decision in December means additional investments worth millions of dollars and employment opportunities for thousands of people. Nuri Atay, Deputy General Manager of Ford Otosan, specified that they will grow along with the Transit model and added, “We can say that we will be the global center of production of the Ford Transit model.”
