Having stated that they will be making an energy investment of 4000 megawatts in five years’ time, Larry Kellerman, President of Cogentrix Energy, which is the energy firm of Goldman Sachs, has said that they will spend €6 billion with Tasyapi in order to achieve this aim. Kellerman, said, "One of the most significant reasons for our preference for Türkiye was its rapidly growing market and its demand for energy. We think that Türkiye offers great opportunities in hydroelectric, coal, and wind energy."
