Turkish PM urges Indian businessmen to invest in Türkiye

BBC Monitoring - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed last week that it was high time for making investments. Speaking at a Turkish-Indian Business Forum Meeting in New Delhi and referring to the global economic crisis, Erdogan said that "this is the time for investments. It is the time for employment and production. If these goals are reached, the crisis would turn into opportunities for countries". Turkish prime minister also noted that Türkiye was the intersection point of the energy, trade and transportation routes between three continents. Erdogan called on Indian businessmen to make investments in Türkiye. Erdogan also noted that the "Ceyhan-Red Sea Oil Pipeline" project would be implemented soon with the participation of India.
