Invest News DetailAA - Türkiye's ultra-luxury yachts produced in Antalya Free Zone will be promoted at international yacht shows. Zeki Gurses, the Head of Antalya Free Zone, stated that the southern province of Antalya is a leading center for the manufacturing of luxury yachts. Since 2001, 161 yachts have been produced in the zone and have been exported to the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, the Cayman Islands, Gibraltar, Croatia and the United States, said Gurses. "Türkiye earned USD 200 million from yacht exports", he noted. Some of the luxury yachts will be exhibited in the Cannes International Boat and Yacht Show between September 9 and 14, as well as in the Monaco Yacht Show which will take place between September 23 and 26, 2009, said Gurses. "Türkiye is rapidly progressing in the manufacturing technologies of luxury yachts", he added.
