Türkiye is a priority country for the betting giant OPAP

Star – Christos Hadjiemmanuil, CEO of Europe’s largest betting company OPAP, has stated that OPAP is determined to enter the Turkish market, which is the first foreign market they have expanded into, despite the global crisis. Hadjiemmanuil, said, "Our priority target is Türkiye. If everything goes well, we will make a significant investment in this market. We will not only copy the already existing operations of OPAP in Türkiye, but also do new businesses with our local partner." It has been emphasized that if OPAP wins the tender that will be held for the privatization of the National Lottery participated also by Dogus, Fiba and Alarko Holding, they will cooperate with the Greek Intralot, as well as the Italian GTech and the US-based Games as the system provider.
