Bavarian companies called on to invest in Türkiye

Sabah (Avrupa) – Companies from Germany’s industrial heartland are invited to invest in Türkiye. In a meeting entitled “Türkiye – The Economic Power Between the East and the West”, Bavarian companies were called on to take advantage of the investment opportunities offered by one of the most promising emerging markets with close historic and cultural ties with Germany.


Speaking at the event organized by the Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Türkiye (ISPAT) and the Bavarian Business Association (vbw), Türkiye’s Ambassador to Berlin, Huseyin Avni Karslioglu, said that Bavaria accounted for 30 percent of the technological innovations in the country and had the largest economy of any region in Germany, stating that Türkiye presented the most attractive investment opportunities for Bavarian companies. “Turkish entrepreneurship and German technology complement each other. We expect more investments from Bavarian companies into Türkiye.”, he noted.


The President of ISPAT, Ilker Ayci, said that the saturation in Europe was making German companies consider new growth markets and that Türkiye provided the optimal location in that regard with its close ties to surrounding markets and excellent infrastructure. “German companies are invited to invest in Türkiye.”, the ISPAT head said, guaranteeing ISPAT’s full support and assistance to such ventures.


One of the largest economies in the world, Germany is a major trade partner of Türkiye. There are over 5,000 German companies operating in Türkiye.
