With the overall growth rate of 8.9 percent, Türkiye has left Europe behind, becoming one of the fastest growing economies in the world in 2010. The country’s GDP has risen to TRY 1.1 trillion (approx. USD 735 billion) in current prices, while GDP per capita exceeded USD 10,000.
