Türkiye predicted to attract USD 20 billion of FDI in 2012

Dunya - International investors in Türkiye have high confidence in the country’s ability to surpass last year’s USD 15.9 billion of foreign direct investments (FDI) in 2012. According to the semiannual Barometer Survey conducted by the International Investors Association of Türkiye (YASED), the FDI inflow into Türkiye could be as high as USD 20 billion in 2012.

The survey lists energy, financial services, automotive and automotive spare parts industries as major FDI recipients for the year. YASED’s Barometer Survey measures the views of foreign investors in Türkiye. Participating investors state their expectations about Türkiye’s economic environment.
