Turkey sees increased interest from French companies

Ankara 24 Saat - Turkey’s recent promotion campaign toward French business community has succeeded in attracting interest to the country, particularly to the high-tech industry where French companies are expected to invest in the coming months.

During the investment conference held in Paris a few months ago in order to increase the trade and investment opportunities between Turkey and France, Alpaslan Korkmaz, President of the Prime Ministry Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Turkey (ISPAT) had addressed French business people and presented the economic situation, investment environment and incentives in Turkey.

Already a topic of heated discussion in France, following the car maker Renault’s statements regarding the production of Clio 4 model in Turkey, the country is now in the scope of insurance giant AXA. “We will expand to emerging countries, Turkey being at the top of the list”, said Henri de Castres, President of the AXA Group.
