Investment Office signed a protocol with the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) and the Technology Development Zone to establish an International Incubation Center for Startups in Istanbul.
In the signing ceremony, Investment Office President Burak Dağlıoğlu said the center will make Istanbul a global hub for startups and entrepreneurs. “Now the scale has grown, USD 137 million have been invested in technology initiatives in 179 transactions in Turkey in 2020. This amount reached 509 million dollars in just three months in the first quarter of this year. Thanks to the growing volume of this sector in Turkey, we need to keep more initiatives here to speed up this a little more," Dağlıoğlu added.
The center will provide support for startups during all stages of their activities, such as providing; financial and legal information, technical assistance, process management services, consultancy on creating a business model, training for marketing activities, and creating a brand management strategy.
