Italy to ease visa requirements for Turkish businessmen

 

AA- The Istanbul Chamber of Commerce and the Italian Consulate General in Istanbul have signed an agreement to facilitate the visa process for Turkish businessmen travelling to Italy.

 

Under the agreement, Turkish businessmen will be able to obtain a five-year Schengen visa after applying to the Italian Consulate General with a recognition letter from the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce. The Schengen visa will also enable Turkish businessmen to travel to the other European countries.

 

Meanwhile, Murat Yalcintas, President of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, has been awarded Italy's Medal of Merit by the Italian President for his contributions to the improvement of Turkish-Italian relations. The Italian Ambassador to Türkiye Carlo Marsili gave Yalcintas a medal during the signing ceremony.
