Minister Caglayan to visit France for stronger trade ties

 

Ankara Baskent - Zafer Caglayan, Türkiye’s State Minister, is to visit Paris in order to participate in activities to be held within the scope of the “Turkish Season” in France. Caglayan is to attend the “Central Asia-Europe-Africa Interregional Business Forum 2010” to be held within the framework of these activities and visit “Texworld” and "Premiere Vision" fairs.

 

According to the statement issued by the Ministry, economic and commercial activities held in France under the name of the “Turkish Season” between July 1, 2009 - March 31, 2010 are being held with the coordination of the Undersecretariat of the Prime Ministry for Foreign Trade and that Minister Caglayan will attend the Central Asia-Europe-Africa Interregional Business Forum 2010 to be held in Paris by the Paris Chamber of Commerce (CCIP)and the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) on February 9-10, 2010.

 

The business forum is intended to be a meeting point for businesspeople from Türkiye, France, Algeria, Morocco, Ivory Coast, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Senegal, Syria and Tunisia and develop business relations on a regional level.  

 

According to the statement, the Minister Caglayan will also pay a visit to international textile, apparel and accessories fair “Texworld” and another textile fair "Premiere Vision.” Minister Caglayan is expected to attend an award ceremony for foreign textile companies with business connections in Türkiye organized by the Istanbul Textile and Confection Exporters Union.
