President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan inaugurated Türkiye’s latest bridge in Malatya Province on February 6.
Attending the opening ceremony of Tohma Şehit Gaffari Güneş Bridge via videoconference, President Erdoğan emphasized that Türkiye’s mega projects accounted for more than half of all mega projects being realized worldwide.
“With these projects continuing even in the course of the COVID-19 outbreak, Türkiye not only overcame the pandemic with minimal negative impact but also set bigger goals for the future,” President Erdoğan said, adding “Türkiye is one of the two G20 economies apparently to close 2020 with positive growth.”
Connecting the two sides of Malatya, the 517-meters long the-state-of-art bridge will answer the needs of the region more properly.
