Turkish Energy Minister: New deal possible on Samsun-Ceyhan pipeline

 

Haber Turk Ekonomi - In an interview given to the Energy Report Magazine, the Turkish Minister of Energy Taner Yildiz said the issues surrounding Türkiye’s nuclear power plant project are likely to be solved in a week. Referring to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev’s visit to Ankara, Minister Yildiz highlighted the important topics to be discussed with the Russian leader as the NPP Project at Mersin, Akkuyu, the Samsun-Ceyhan Pipeline Project and the South Stream. Yildiz hinted at a new deal on the Samsun-Ceyhan Project to improve cooperation between the partners. Yildiz also strongly emphasized Türkiye’s right to look into projects other than Nabucco.
