Tesco Kipa grows in Türkiye, creates 2,000 jobs

 

Radikal - Turkish-British JV Tesco Kipa is to create 2,000 new jobs in 2010 as part of its ongoing investments.

Active in the Turkish market since 2003, the supermarket chain has opened new stores in Nevsehir, Istanbul’s Pendik district, Balikesir and Ankara with its number of stores reaching three in Istanbul alone. According to the press release issued by the company, Tesco Kipa has acquired 200,000 square meters of land for its new retail store investments and expects to create 2,000 job opportunities.
