Turkish airport operator TAV partnered by French counterpart

Dunya - Turkish airport operator TAV Airports Holding sold 38 percent of its stake to French Aeroports de Paris (ADP) in a USD 874 million deal.

The operator of the French capital’s airports acquired 18 percent of TAV Airports from its parent group Akfen Holding for USD 414 million, while Tepe Insaat, another stakeholder of TAV Airports, sold 18 percent of its shares at the same amount. ADP also acquired 2 percent of TAV stakes from Sera Yapi for USD 46 million.

TAV runs Ataturk Airport in Istanbul, one of the busiest in Europe, as well as terminals in Latvia, Macedonia and Saudi Arabia.
