Intel Capital invests in Turkish technology firm

Dunya – World’s largest semiconductor company Intel, signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Ankara based technology company Nokta. The agreement between Intel’s global investment division, Intel Capital and online media services provider Nokta marks the global giant’s first venture in a Turkish technology firm in its 13-year-long presence in Türkiye.
“Intel Capital’s investment in Türkiye is significant as it will encourage other investors to move in to the Turkish market, thereby benefiting the country's overall high-tech industry..” said Intel Türkiye head Cigdem Ertem speaking at the press meeting announcing the deal. The financial terms of the partnership deal was not disclosed, however, Intel Capital is known to have a USD 50 million fund for investing in Türkiye, Middle East and Africa regions.
