Hurriyet - Delivering the closing speech of the Sixth Investment Advisory Council for Türkiye meetings, IMF President Dominique Strauss-Kahn said Türkiye will become one of the most important economies in the world in time. Strauss-Kahn said, “If Türkiye accepts international standards, it has the opportunity to play in a different league.” Strauss-Kahn stated that he finds the meeting, in which he participated for the first time, very interesting and added, “We had discussions in various different fields. There is great opportunity for Türkiye now. As Türkiye is the 17th largest economy in the world and the 6th largest economy in Europe, it will become one of the most important economies in the world in time.”
