Referans - Zafer Atbakan, Director General of the European Free Zone (EFZ) located in the northwestern province of Tekirdag, said EFZ will invest USD 500 million in various infrastructure projects. “We will add USD 500 million to our existing investments”, said Atbakan, adding that the new investments will cover upgrading of the infrastructure of the zone, including the installation of fiber-optic lines. Atbakan noted that adding a wind energy plant to the zone to meet the growing energy need is also on their schedule.
