ICDAS to invest USD 2.5 billion in energy

 

Sabah - ICDAS, one of the leading names in Türkiye’s iron-steel industry, has unveiled investment plans in the fast-growing energy sector. A total of USD 2.5 billion will be invested in energy projects, which include a 1200 MW thermal power plant and a 106 MW wind farm. The thermal power plant, scheduled to go online in 2011, will increase the firm’s installed capacity to 1600 MW. The projected wind farm is awaiting approval from Türkiye’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).
