Investment and Finance Office marked its 20th anniversary with an exclusive reception held in Rome, bringing together senior public officials, business leaders, and investors from Türkiye and Italy.
Hosted at the Residence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Italy, the event was co-hosted by Investment and Finance Office President A. Burak Dağlıoğlu and Ambassador of Türkiye to Italy Elif Çomoğlu Ülgen. The reception was attended by senior officials from Italian public institutions, as well as representatives of Italian companies investing in Türkiye and Turkish businesses operating in Italy.
The reception opened with key remarks by Dağlıoğlu and Ülgen, who were invited to the stage by Investment and Finance Office Country Advisor Gino Costa.
Dağlıoğlu highlighted Türkiye's economic transformation over the past two decades and the country's growing role as a regional and global powerhouse for investments. He emphasized that Türkiye continues to offer strong opportunities for international investors through its strategic location, dynamic workforce, resilient economy, and expanding industrial and technological capabilities.
Referring to the strong economic partnership between Türkiye and Italy, Dağlıoğlu noted that bilateral trade volume has reached approximately USD 30 billion, while Italian companies have invested more than USD 5 billion in Türkiye. He underscored the significant potential for further collaboration in advanced manufacturing, technology, innovation, and third-country partnerships.
Dağlıoğlu also presented Türkiye's investment vision and recent developments in the country's investment environment, reaffirming the Investment and Finance Office's commitment to facilitating international investment and supporting strategic partnerships between Türkiye and global investors.
In her remarks, Ambassador Ülgen underlined the growing momentum in Türkiye-Italy relations across a wide range of areas, emphasizing that bilateral cooperation has gained further strength following the 4th Intergovernmental Summit held last year under the auspices of the leaders of the two countries. She noted that the deepening political and economic ties between Türkiye and Italy continue to create new opportunities for trade, investment, and strategic collaboration.
Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy Valentino Valentini emphasized the importance of deepening economic cooperation between the two countries and commended the Investment and Finance Office for its contribution to strengthening Türkiye's international investment ecosystem.

The 20 Years of Excellence Reception in Rome is part of a series of international engagements hosted as part of Investment and Finance Office's 20th anniversary celebrations, reflecting its continued efforts to promote Türkiye's position as the powerhouse for investments.
