RWE-Turcas to invest EUR 500 million in energy project in Denizli

Haberturk Egeli - As Türkiye’s growing energy market is increasingly populated by foreign investors, Germany’s RWE and its Turkish partner, Turcas, are building a power plant in Türkiye’s Aegean province of Denizli. The gas-fired combined cycle power plant will have a capacity of 775 MWs and an efficiency rating of 55 percent, making it the most modern and environmentally friendly facility of its kind in Türkiye. The construction of the plant has started in Denizli’s Kaklik county and will be completed by 2012.
